I trained for the stage at The Birmingham School of Acting, and read English and American Studies at the University of East Anglia. I hold the Arts Council England diploma in Arts Administration.
I have been: Head of Drama in an 11-18 Comprehensive School, the original Head of Drama at Alton College, Hampshire, and also Head of Drama at Farnham College, Hampshire and Alton Convent School, Hampshire. I was Chair of The Hampshire Association for Education Through Drama, and a senior moderator for A-Level Drama and Theatre Studies.
I have adjudicated at The Godalming Festival, and I have acted with, and directed at, The Edinburgh Festival and with local drama societies and groups. I enjoy working with adults and children.
